Our story began in 2008, but didn’t get really interesting until 2019.
mmbb Studio is made up of the artist duo MustacheMachine & BlackBetty who met in 2008 at the Columbus College of Art and Design. From 2008-2019 we created different worlds, characters, and stories to transport our viewer to. And then, in 2019 everything changed with the help of our little dude #JetTheAdventurer (and yes, check out that instagram hashtag for all of the cuteness). Not only did Jet make us stop what we are doing and reorganize our priorities, but he also opened up our creative imagination even more.
Since Jet came into our lives we have learned that the simplest things are what kiddos enjoy the most at times. That books with fun words and pictures that kids can relate to capture their imagination the best. And sometimes, that one outfit is simply the bee knees and you love it on your little one the best. Then when it comes to the time that they grow out of it, you are honest-to-goodness sad it.
We are giant kids at heart and that is why we felt it was only natural that we shift our focus towards making kiddos (and their parents) happy.
With every purchase made, you are allowing us to move one step closer to being fully independent artists and showing our son that, no matter what, keep your imagination and your love for the world around you. Because if you love something enough, it will happen.
